Maude Royden, spoke at Bristol Peacemakers’ Pilgrimage 1926

It was reported in the press that the Women’s Peacemakers’ Pilgrimage arrived at Bristol on 26 May 1926. Meetings were held on the Downs and at the Central Hall. At the latter Miss Maud Royden spoke and the model resolution was passed in favour of law taking the place of war.
