A No More War open-air demonstration was held in Bridgwater on Sunday evening, 29 July 1923. The event, promoted locally by the League of Nations Union, was one of many taking place that weekend nationally and internationally. Among the speakers was Mr J. M. Boltz, Secretary of the General Workers’ Union.
